The best BABY...BABY... Shower Ever! May 31st 2008

Here I am sittin' on my throne lookin' kinda girthy! This is the only pic I got of my belly @ 31 weeks. I watched as so many of my friends and family started coming through the door. It was wonderful to see so many people that I loved! It really sank in that I was going to be a mom when Shanna came over to have me fill out a name tag for myself and she told me to write MOM on it, and I think John felt the same when he wrote DAD on his....reality check....but it is so exciting!

John and Shanna were secretly plotting something for weeks before the shower and I had know idea what it was...but they were coming up with this beauty...Shanna put it all together and John did the drawing...it turned out great...and I thought it was hilarious! In this shot it is John and I (Dad and Mom)!

This is the only picture I got with my mom during the shower...but it is priceless!

It was so great to have Grandma M, Aunt Andrea and Lizzy come from so far to be at my shower...it made me feel so special! I couldn't fit all of my shower gifts in one picture...so I thought it would be fun to take a pictures of groups of things...some of the other photos didn't turn out so great but I thought it would be fun to take a picture of all of the beautiful dresses for the twins! The M ladies come to town! May 30th 2008

Sisters...sisters....A fun makeover: May 29th 2008

I was so excited when my sis Chelsi ask me to do her hair and makeup....we chose a fun summer hair-do and I loved styling her bangs...of course we had to do something that wouldn't take too long for her hair because every second I stand on my feet they swell up like summer sausages...so we did the hair quickly...but I could sit for the makeup!

This next phase of the makeover I wanted to show Chel what just a little eye makeup can do for a lady so I showed her half and half and pointed out how much it brightened up her face....by the way I think Chel is beautiful with or without makeup...but I loved that she wanted me to teach her how to enhance her already lovely features!

Ta daa....We finished in record time and I think Chel looks stunning! She walked and talked with more confidence and a little spring in her step that day which made it all worth it for me...I realized that it would be so great to have more women find a way to make themselves feel better weather it is a small makeover or a random compliment from a stranger we should all support each other in whatever it takes to make others and ourselves feel great!

Mom and Chelsi came into town on the 24th and on Monday the 26th John and I went with them to see Indiana Jones. Apparently Mom and I were taking too long to get ready to go....so John and Chelsi had an ever so subtle way of letting us know that they had been waiting a while!

After hanging our with Shanna and Abigail on Friday I went to Kohl's and found a cool shirt to give John for our anniversary....but I could not resist migrating toward the baby section.

I wanted to be the one to buy the little onezies that we will take them home from the hospital in...and I have been looking for a long time for just the right ones.

When I saw these cute little shirts I was so happy...they are perfect....because not only are the girls going to be our little sweet peas, but they are also two peas in a pod! Literally!

I was so thrilled to find these!

Yep...it's true... John and I have officially been married for 6 years! I do feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful man! He really is my best friend and I love him dearly. He is going to make such a great daddy, and if he was the blogger I just know he would have written the same wonderful sentiments about me...I'm sure of it! :)

Abi loves books and I thought this was such a cute picture of her... she was so captivated!

I tried so hard to put my purse where Abi couldn't reach it....but this is a face of triumph....she had found my purse and was in the process of trying her best to unzip it! I just loved her face in this picture...she is hilarious!

Aunt Rach and Abigail and our toes! May 9th 2008

I was showing sweet little Abigail some pictures on my camera on Friday (because Abi loves to look at pictures) and we came across this beauty (as you see directly above) of my swollen feet I took the night before. Abi laughed and thought it was hilarious! She is so sweet! Personally this picture makes me want to chunder! Never the less Abi wanted me to take picture of her cute little feet too....so I did, and that picture above my feet is the cuteness that makes this entry of my blog bearable!

Our Baby Girls! Ultrasound May 5th 2008

These are our little girls at 27 weeks and 3 days old. They are both weighing in at 2lbs. 2oz each which is very good. At our last ultrasound baby A was slightly smaller but today she caught up to baby B which we are very, very relieved to hear.

They think we might be having identical twins, but earlier in the pregnancy they had told us they were fraternal. I personally don't think that they are identical for a few reasons and also because today we found out that baby A has a rounder head and a bigger tummy, and baby B has a narrower head and longer legs: yet they both weigh the same. So if you ask me it seems like baby A is more of a Combs and baby B is more of a Moultrie...but I guess only time will tell!

It is going to be so fun to see what they look like in just a couple of months! The doc told me today that my goal is 36 weeks but if for some reason I make it to 38 weeks they will probably induce me, either way John and I only have an average of 10 Weeks to get ready for our little baby girls...which kind of freaks me out but it is also very exciting. We really can't wait!

We had Justin, Shanna and Abigail over for games and junk food! We had a blast and Abi was so fun. She is learning new things everyday.

John and I love seeing our nieces and nephews learn and become more and more adorable!

We can hardly wait for our girls to get here, it is going to be so much fun to see them learn and grow.

John's brother Joe and his family came to visit and it was so fun to see how much everyone has changed! I swear that these boys were all at least a foot shorter the last time we saw them! Craaazy!

We were all able to get together on Friday at Chucky Cheese, and it was a blast! John and I went as well as Alisha, Ben, Brigham and Gracie. Geoff, Mandy and Emma came and Joe, Missy, Andrew, Jared, and Henry...It was a party and a half...and the half was the rest of the crew that will be at the party next time...I call them the buns in the oven crew!

Thats right Me, Missy and Mandy are all pregnant right now and so next time we all get together their will be 4 more little ones added to the crew. Rick and Dee (John's parents) are going to jump from 9 grandchildren to 13 come November!
